The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

2013’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, directed by and starring Ben Stiller, is a visually ambitious reimagining of James Thurber’s classic short story with a surprisingly high amount of skateboarding during its runtime. Despite this, neither Kevin nor Mike were particularly fond of this particular movie. Discussed: A particularly terrible profile of Stiller in The New Yorker around the time of this movie's release, the great Rodney Mullen acting as Stiller's skateboard stunt double, the many, many things we didn't like about this film, and which Ben Stiller films we actually do like. Why bother with flights of fancy when you can occupy your brain with a new episode of GLEAMING THE TUBE?!
